... will be our 2014 Pantomime, "The Snow Queen", based (rather loosely!) on the fairytale by Hans Christian Andersen.
The Snow Queen is a formidable character whose heart is cold as ice. When she tries to come between two young people in love, a musical adventure begins, taking us on a snowy journey of laughs and excitement. The journey culminates in the Tunnel of Sound with sound and lighting effects enhancing the scene which is both hilarious and scary.
This pantomime is full of characters including Nanny Rose, a traditional pantomime dame; Bea the reindeer (who has fleas) and Snivel and Grovel, a brilliant comedy duo.
The show runs from Tuesday December 2nd to Saturday December 6th at 7.30pm with an additional matinee performance at 3.00pm on Saturday.
Written by Helen Gard, directed by Diane Cox, set creation by Tobie Jennings and Steve Patey, musical director John Purver.
